Just what is High Fructose Corn Syrup?

I never thought I would be a label reader, looking for things like High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), things that I can’t pronounce, or just a general lack of nutrition. I have to admit, when I was a kid, we drank Tang; remember that stuff? It was good because the astronauts were drinking it, right?

Now that the countdown to the New Year is over, we have our own countdown we’re so excited about – the GRAND OPENING of Madison Fresh Market! In just three days at 12:00 noon, our doors will be open and we will be welcoming our first customers. As I write this, the shelves are almost stocked, the team is getting familiarized with their responsibilities, and the finishing touches are being put on the inside and outside of the store. It took a lot of planning and hard work to get to this point, but now that we are, we can’t wait to share our store with you!
