Our commitment to carrying local products and supporting local businesses is strong! We want to supply you with as many local products as we can. To help you identify the local products on our shelves and in our coolers, just look for the “True Local” logo.
You’ll see this logo on products such as RP’s Pasta, Mary’s Gourmet Scones from Mt. Horeb, Just Coffee, Potter’s Crackers, Silly Yak Bakery, Sassy Cow Creamery, Stella’s Bakery, Wisconsin Acres honey, Greenbush Bakery and many more Wisconsin made products that we carry. Help us support our local economy! Look for our exclusive True Local logo and then buy some great products made in our own backyard!

| We are proud to introduce another local product in our inventory and a new member of our management team!
New in our meat case this week is an array of locally grown, organic meats from Black Earth Meats in Black Earth, WI! A small town, old-fashioned meat locker, Black Earth Meats purchases all of their animals from farmers who only practice sustainable, organic farming methods. All of their beef are grass fed – NEVER grain fed thus assuring the highest quality, organic meat possible. Black Earth Meats processes these animals with the strong belief that the death of the animals give us life. Because of this, they process each animal with the utmost care and compassion. They are not computer automated like larger processing plants. Each animal is handled one at a time, and Black Earth Meats’ butchers are trained through every process. And just in time for Ramadan, they have supplied us with Hallal Beef. This beef has been blessed and processed according to Islamic custom. Because this is a small shop, the costs they pass on are not inflated. You can be assured that we will pass these savings onto you. Stop in and get some of this superior tasting, tender meat and then let us know what you think! |
Exciting New Products Just Added to our Inventory!

We have added some awesome new products to our inventory this past week. In our frozen department, check out Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. Made from all natural ingredients, you are sure to find a taste that suits you. It comes in a cute package too! We are only one of two retail outlets in Madison where you can get this great tasting ice cream! Check out their story here!
If you’re looking for a healthier alternative to ice cream, you have to check out Arctic Zero. These products are less than 150 calories per pint and are all natural, gluten free, fat free, and are touted as a protein shake in an ice cream form! We carry seven flavors. We are only grocery store in Madison to carry Arctic Zero!
In the dairy section, look for Yoplait Lite Yogurts with granola. It’s a great grab-n-go snack and is the only yogurt loaded with essential Vitamin D.
In our meat department, we now carry Smart Chicken Organic Sausages. Smart Chicken products are all organic and carry the highest organic certification possible. Try it out today!
