A COUPLE OF INTRODUCTIONS!

We are proud to introduce another local product in our inventory and a new member of our management team!

New in our meat case this week is an array of locally grown, organic meats from Black Earth Meats in Black Earth, WI!  A small town, old-fashioned meat locker, Black Earth Meats purchases all of their animals from farmers who only practice sustainable, organic farming methods.  All of their beef are grass fed – NEVER grain fed thus assuring the highest quality, organic meat possible.

Black Earth Meats processes these animals with the strong belief that the death of the animals give us life.  Because of this, they process each animal with the utmost care and compassion.  They are not computer automated like larger processing plants.  Each animal is handled one at a time, and Black Earth Meats’ butchers are trained through every process.

And just in time for Ramadan, they have supplied us with Hallal Beef.  This beef has been blessed and processed according to Islamic custom.

Because this is a small shop, the costs they pass on are not inflated.  You can be assured that we will pass these savings onto you.

New to our management team this week is customer service manager,  Karen DeSanto.  Karen comes to us with an eclectic background in business ownership, has former customer service experience and has even traveled with the circus!   Trained to be a professional clown, you may see her juggling oranges or apples in the produce department from time to time!  She is charged with promoting and enhancing your customer service experience with us.  She will also be instrumental in our community involvement.  Make sure to say HI if you see her in the store!
