Cooking Classes/Tastings Schedule

We are excited to announce a series of special cooking events in our store! Enroll today in any or all of the events and enjoy special dishes from our in-house chef, Andy Nighbor , that will truly tempt your taste buds!  Some classes will be set up as a learning experience while other classes are purely for your enjoyment and entertainment.

These events will be held in our second floor event room and are available to a limited number of participants for a nominal fee.  We require a 72 hour advance cancellation notice of any class that you are signed up for.

Risotto Night ($15.00)

Chef Andy takes the stigma out of cooking risotto.  Truly an easy dish to create, he will teach you the trick to making the perfect risotto each time!  Wine will be available for purchase.  (Bottles offered will be available from $10-$17 per bottle).  One of our more popular classes, so make sure to sign up early to reserve your spot!

Chicken Four Ways ($15.00)

Chef Andy will take one whole chicken and create four extraordinary dishes!  From soup to salad to two main dishes, you’ll taste chicken like you never have before!

RP’s Pasta Night ($12.95)
Thursday, June 21   6:00-7:30 pm
Join Peter Robertson, founder and owner of Madison’s RP’s Pasta, as he showcases his masterful pasta cookery skills!  He’ll teach you how to make some incredible pasta dishes using fresh, all-natural pasta straight from his kitchen!  Each pasta dish will paired with the perfect wine complement.

Wine Tasting – Classic Reds ($15.00)

Take a tour of the classic red inventory on hand in our store!  You’ll sample the finest malbec, pinot noir, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and shiraz we have available.  We will also enjoy a small bites menu consisting of braised pork belly with veal demi, carpaccio crostini with maytag blue cheese and an onion marmalade, caramelized onion and fig tart with a port wine reduction, lamb meat balls with a rosemary sauce and almond lace cups filled with dark chocolate mousse and seasonal berries!  Yes ONLY $15.00!!  A great class to bring a friend with you!

Flambe Night ($20.00)
Friday, July 12  6-7:30p
Chef Andy will take you on a feast for your eyes (and stomach) when he sets the food on fire!!  You’ll be amazed as he serves you shrimp madagascar, steak au poivre and bananas fosters using this technique.  A perfect date night!
