Homemade Tortilla Chips
Nothing goes better with our fresh guacamole than tortilla chips. If you really want to impress your guests, try making these simple homemade chips from Simply Recipes. These baked chips are easy to make, and are much lower in calories than fried.
First, pick up a package of regular corn tortillas. When cut into wedges, each tortilla will make 6 chips. You’ll also want Kosher salt ready.
Cut the tortillas into 6 wedges while you wait for your oven to heat to 350°F. Next, put the wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 6 minutes. Using tongs, turn each chip over and sprinkle with salt, then bake for another 6 to 9 minutes until they begin turning color. After you take them from the oven, let them cool, sprinkle with some more salt, and serve. Don’t forget the guac!
