Bad news on the weather front when it comes to some vegetables we get out of Florida during the winter months. Last week, some extremely low temperatures damaged about 25% of the sweet corn and green bean crop. Temperatures dropped into the mid-20’s which caused problems in the supply chain. We wanted to give you a heads up on why you may be seeing some higher prices when it comes to these vegetables. We are working with all our distributors to minimize any prices hikes.
St. Patrick’s Day is Sunday and we have several specials on St. Patty’s essentials. Check out our weekly specials by clicking here.
