We are happy to announce a new product just in the store starting this week. They are “Asian Essentials” and include 6 different Asian vegetables that come in convenient 1lb. clamshells: Napa Cabbage, Bok Choy, Shanghai Leaves, Petite Shanghai, Gai Lan and Petite Choy Sum. Bad news on the weather front when it comes to some vegetables we get out of Florida during the winter months. Last week, some extremely low temperatures damaged about 25% of the sweet corn and green bean crop. Temperatures dropped into the mid-20’s which caused problems in the supply chain. We wanted to give you a heads up on why you may be seeing some higher prices when it comes to these vegetables. We are working with all our distributors to minimize any prices hikes.

Last Thursday (March 7^th), we appeared before the City of Madison committee discussing the proposal for the 800 block of East Washington. We are thrilled to be part of 2 of the 3 proposals for the mixed-use development. You can read more about our proposal by clicking this link.
