Cooking for the Soul

February 25, 2013

We had a great time Thursday at our Southwest Cuisine cooking class. Many new faces along with the “regulars” who love coming each week to learn something new about the products we carry! We had 5 winners from a quick Twitter contest who went to the class for free. Join us on Twitter where you’ll find information and content that’s different than Facebook. Follow us @freshmadison!

Cooking Pheasant with Chef Andy of Fresh Madison Market and MacFarlane FarmsOn March 7th, we are very excited about our class with MacFarlane Farms and Chef Andy. If you have ever wanted to prepare pheasant but were scared off, thinking it might be too difficult, this is a class you want to be at! Learn more by clicking here – the class will include stuffed pheasant breast and bacon and chorizo and a flourless chocolate cake! You can’t go wrong!

We want you to be part of our effort to build another Fresh Madison Market. Our hope is to open another urban grocery as part of the new development in the 800 block of East Washington. Our goal remains the same – remain close to our customers and offer them more than just a shopping experience. Please take a look at the bids that are now up for debate with the Madison Common Council. 3 groups have offered ideas…but 2 of the developers have chosen us to be the grocer that fulfills a need for that community. Please read more about our new grocery. 800 Block of East Washington Fresh Madison MarketThis link will take you to the City of Madison site where you can read about the bids. The first two links on that page are the bids we are part of. Be aware, the links take some time to load because the bids are large, but we want to be sure you know more about what we want to offer to the city we call home!

And, there's a few more days left to vote for Best of Madison! Please take a moment and vote for us as Best Grocer. Thank you!
