It’s pretty impressive to see how something so small can make such a big difference. For this, you can thank Ruth Graves Wakefield of the Toll House Inn in Massachusetts. She simply took a semi-sweet Nestle chocolate bar and cut it up in chunks and gave the world the chocolate chip cookie. To say they were a big hit is an understatement.
