Peanut Butter Smoothie is a Protein Powerhouse!

Starting your day with proteins has been shown to help people lose weight.  Your cravings tend to be lower and protein helps keep your energy up.  Here’s a fantastic morning smoothie that can give your day a protein powered start!

Peanut Butter Smoothie

You’ll need:

1 banana

½ of a pear (remove the core)

½ cup of low-fat milk

¼ cup of Greek yogurt

2 tbsp of peanut butter

Plus 1 cup of ice cubes and a pinch of salt.

Put this in your blender and mix it all together until it’s smooth.  If it’s still a bit too thick, you can add some more milk.  Drink it and enjoy!
